Edited copy of question sent before. I am doing business in the premises for Extra advance demanded by The LLAs per Land lord demand I issued Seven cheque of equal denomination and got them cleared. After depositing the Amount in my account then after I issued cheque of date Four and five days later,I also gave him the cheque of that month rent. He after the period of one month that is when I went to give him rent cheque after depositing the amount he said the cheque been returned mentioning no fund. Hence here after you has to pay me in cash and did not accepted that month cheque also. When I approached My Bank they said that they did not recieved any cheque for payment. I has paid two month rent in cash. He is kept cheque with him beside my request to give back at least the rent cheque. I also want to clear that he has shown me with paper attached showing cheque been returned for no fund. Now he tell me to take DD for the amount. (Equal to the amount of cheque balance advance)In this case what I has to do?Is he have any Mal intention? I Accepted to take DD in his name ?Give me suggestion and guide me please. Thank you.

Dear Sir / Madam,
No, going by the facts enlisted in your query, since the landlord has given you evidence of the Bank's advice that the cheque has been returned back uncleared, I do not think the landlord's intention are malaise. In my opinion, it is more important for you to protect your business interests. So if the landlord is asking you to furnish the Demand Draft (DD) towards monthly rent, please comply accordingly.
