Legal Question in Banking Law in India

my father by mistake transferred 1.50 lakhs rupees through NEFT to some other account due to mistake in one digit in account number while the beneficiary name was correct. The wrong beneficiary immediately withdraw the amount from his bank and ATM. We contacted the wrong beneficiary and he said he will return the money but he keep on doing wrong commitment than we approach the police for help they are refuge to lodge the FIR and said that this is your mistake and you have to bear it and escorting the wrong beneficiary. what shall I do know I have the recording of the conversation of the wrong beneficiary we have talked over the phone multiple times and the bank document and complaint copy at PS.

vishal you still have taken no action the more you delay the more it will be difficult for you to withdraw the money. contact a lawyer and take steps.
