Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Since the Fixed Deposit is not a Negotiable instrument can it be given ( proceeds of FD) through pay order directly in favour of the nominees name when the original depositor is deceased or same has to routed through SB account of the deceased to the nominee through Banker's cheque.
