Dear Sir / Madam,
You may inform your friend to rely on his / her deceased father's Will and courier his / her deceased father's Fixed Deposit (FD) receipt along with his / her father's Death Certificate with covering letter addressed to the Branch Manager of the Bank to Canada for signature. Once it comes, the two other sisters of your friend should also sign alongside and submit it to the Bank. Should the Bank disagree and inform your friend to get your father Succession Certificate, simply tell your friend that the expenses thereon will be shared by both the Bank and the three sisters.
Regards,
