Legal Question in Banking Law in India
My friend's father have FD of 2lac in bank without nomination,now her father has expired. As she has one step sister(married) refusing to sign for withdrawing money when her mother asked for. Bank is refusing to release money without step sister's sign. Her mother needs money for younger sister's study and other expenses. What options they have? (they are 3sisters including one step sis who is refusing to sign)

Get the succession certificate from court ask band your share otherwise take courts order.
