Legal Question in Banking Law in
I gave 10 lacs thru cheque to a builder for buying a property which he never delivered.After 2 yrs I started requesting him to refund.After lots of follow ups and by influencing thru common friend he gave me 9 lacs over a peiod of one year time.But now he has been avoiding me for the last one lac.I have alreday lost on the interest part which I could have earned if I had put the money in the bank.I have his bounced chque with me.Is there any way to recover the amount with interest.

deffiniatly u can recover the amount \.
If the validity of the cheque is still on. i.e cheque's life time is just 6 months then u can file complaint u/s 138 NI Act.
Else you can file a recovery suit against him
