Dear Sir / Madam,
A Succession Certificate is issued by the local Court based on an application filed by the legal heir(s) at the Court. It is not obtained from the Bank nor through RTI.

If you need any particulars of any funds or amounts likely to be due from SBI, you can obtain information from SBI. Succession certificate for suc funds, if required by SBI has to be obtained from Court under Indian Succession Act.
