Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Hi,
Have received 3 cheques of 1 lac amount each from a party which taken the payment from me one year back for a land but the deal got failed.
Hv checked with the bank in advance and bank replied the signature mismatch. Till date i have not filed any cheque. I know that it becomes a legal case after cheque bounces due to signature mismatch.
I have a doubt if he has sent any application to bank for stop payment and filed Lost . In this case will the case becomes less stronger. Please advise what steps should i take.
