Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Hi,
I have deposited a check in my CC account of Rs2,00,000. I have filled in the correct details in the pay in slip and the correct account no was mentioned at the back side of the check. Inspite of that the funds were credited to wrong account. We came to know about the same after six months. Now the bank has refunded our money by debiting the account of the account holder whose account was wrongly credited. I would like to know what is my legal stand for the interest portion for the six months. I have only recived the principal amount of Rs.2,00,000.
Thanks,
Ankit Agarwal
