Legal Question in Banking Law in India
hii i am from jodhpur. i give an amount to a friend by cheque for help purpose in mumbai but now he is keep giving me excuses.he gave me blank cheque signed.now what legal action i can do against him. can i file a cheque bounce complaint against him at jodhpur so he will be more harrased ?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes. You have to file the bounced cheque case under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1938 within 30 days of the date of intimation to you by your Bank that the cheque has bounced.
