This is Nagaraju, One person taken money from me amount 1,50,000 thousand indian rupees, now that person given cheque to me. But no money in his bank account. what i want to do now ?

There are two remedies available one is to file 138 NI Act and the other is to file recovery suit under Order XXXVII.

Immediately issue notice by regd.post acknowledgment due demanding him to pay the amount of cheque within15 days of the receipt of notice.
If he fails to properly respond,file a complaint under Sec.138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.Please take the assistance of a local lawyer.
