Legal Question in Banking Law in Pakistan
I have an international ATM card which came from USA, issued by a financial institution in USA, which I use to withdraw cash from ATM machines here in Pakistan. I tried to withdraw some amount from Bank Alfalah ATM recently.
The ATM did not dispense the cash but the money was charged to my card successfully. So, I did not get the cash but the money was deducted from my card balance.
I have contacted Bank Alfalah and they say that the transaction was reversed from their side and they cannot do anything in this matter. I filed a dispute for that transaction from my card issuer side but I don't know if Bank Alfalah will return the money or not.
So, in this case, can I file a case on Bank Alfalah to get my cash back??
