Legal Question in Banking Law in
i have issued a cheque of Rs 1,00,000 to a builder, but now i came to know that the builder is demanding more money than market value.
Now i want to stop cheque paymant, is it legal. also what reason i should tell my bank.

stop payment instruction to the bank. write to the builder that you are not interested in the transaction. But you must not have already signed the contract.
