Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I have issues a banker's cheque in favor of a company in Bangalore. I have made the banker's cheque from Central Cooperative bank, Sonepat in collaboration with IDBI bank Sonepat. IDBI bank tells me that the amount has been credited from the account, while cooperative bank too says that. However, the party in Bangalore says they are having an issue in clearing the Banker's cheque? is it possible? Does deduction from my account assures that the other party must have received the amount. can any one else use the banker's cheque? can it be forged. It was an Account Payee cheque in favour of a company's name
