I had lend 2lac rupees to one of my friend for some reason. I have sent the money to him through online banking. He had also provided me the cheque of the same amount as a guarantee which is signed by him without the date mentioned. If this cheque get bounced or the payment has been stopped, what legal action i can take against him. Please suggest.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You can sue your friend for cheque bouncing and recovery of the sum under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
Regards,
you can date the cheque with a recent date and present the same. If it bounces, you can take action under Sec.138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act to prosecute your friend. Get the assistance of local Advocate for further advice and action.
