Legal Question in Banking Law in India

I have lost my dd issued by Axis bank favouring eBIZ.com Pvt Ltd . I issued it today only and now it is lost. Can i get a duplicate dd or my money back??

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should immediately inform the issuing Bank that the Demand Draft (DD) has been lost and to cancel it. The Bank will levy some cancellation charges and will also levy the applicable Bank charges for replacing the DD with a new one.

1) Inform the issuing bank Loss of DD and they will deduct bank charges and credit the amount to ur a/c after ensuring the DD was not paid elsewhere.

2) Duplicate DD shall be issued by the issuing branches on receipt of confirmation of non payment from the drawee branch and on execution of stamped letter of indemnity with two sureties good for the amount involved.
