Legal Question in Banking Law in
My Neighbor has taken rs 68,000/- from me and he had issued me the cheque of the same amount. The cheque was dated for 22nd Dec2010 and it got bounced on Feb 3rd 2011.
Can you please suggest , how should i proceed further.

Send him a legal notice within 30 days starting from 3rd feb 2011.
If he does not pay the amount then you can file a complaint case under section 138 NI Act before the district megistrate.
