Legal Question in Banking Law in India
One person has borrowed 40,000 Rupees from me and now he is not giving my money back, he gave me 2 cheques of 20,000 each and both the cheques has been dishonourd, is there any legal way to get my money back, please suggest

Dear Sir /. Madam,
You will have to file a recovery suit for cheque dishonour as per the provisions of Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act within 30 days from the date of receipt of intimation of cheque dishonour by your Bank. A Police case is advisable and recommended.
