Legal Question in Banking Law in India

At present I'm working as a Branch Manager in a Govt. Bank. At the same time I was selected in Nationalised Bank. But, at the time of applying for the Nationalised Bank, I was not employed with my Present organisation. So, when I appeared for the interview at the Nationalised Bank, I didn't informed my present organisation, rather I attended the interview without Proper Channel. No papers related to my present organisation is submitted to the recruiting bank. Now, since I has been finally selected in the Nationalised Bank, so in that case whether I need to apply for resignation at my present organisation or I may simply stop attending the Office and join my new organisation? Kindly Advise and suggests regarding the matter, also from legal point of view.

Please Help and Advise.
