Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I Purchased Flat in 2013. I also Paid necessary Stamp Duty, and registration charges. I also Paid transfer fees to MHADA and got transfer flat in my name. I also got NOC from Society and MHADA as well. Initially I had taken Home Loan from HDFC and MHADA given NOC for that as well. When recently, I applied for Home Loan transfer from HDFC to SBI, the Bank (SBI) is asking for Lease Dead. However, this was not requested by HDFC when I was sanctioned home loan 3 years back. Can someone please explain/ help me to understand me what is Lease Dead, and what is the process to get Lease Dead. And how much Lease Deed is mandatory document for Bank Transfer/ Takeover.

Dear Sir / Madam,
There is no lease deed applicable in your case as the NOC from MHADA is sufficient.
