Legal Question in Banking Law in India
sir my atm card validity getting over last few month back, and also last 8 month(fem Oct 2015 to Jun 2016) no other transaction in my account. then jan month I went to bank in person and submitted my expired atm and also ask to active my accounr to them. bank employee said your account is inactive, k i changed ur account is active now u come aftr 10 days and collect ur card. today (22.06.2016) also I went to there. again he is telling the same story he charged 100rs in my account . i asked him, he said that he applied New card. that's y this amount charged. I dnt know y they charged. actually bank has to give renewal card for customer y they charged. in their terms n condition there is no charges for renewal card. last six month me and my father went to bank for only this problem. there is no proper response. I need to know is it right or wrong? pls ans my query.

Dear Sir / Madam,
No, the Bank is not supposed to charge the renewal card amount. You should give a letter to the Bank to reverse the charge.
