Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Hi Sir ,
As my few cheque's have been stolen. i have requested bank to stop process of cheque's . but i am afraid that if any one uses my cheque's and it gets bounces. if they take legal action on me . Is it applicable after stopping the cheque's payments through bank ?? or shall i close my bank account ... Sir please help to provide me solution??

Closing of account will not serve the purpose. As such there is no option except that you also lodge a police complaint regarding stolen cheques and it would be of great help to you if any body misuse the lost cheque.
