Legal Question in Banking Law in India

Sir I had current a/C, I had cheque deposited in my bank, that was another bank;s cheque, but unfortunately forgotten to take signature in that cheque from my wife, but in my current a, /C they didn't charged, but in wife a/C is it been charged, and I had asked that bank why it's been charged for signature forgotten, kindly reply it's been chargable

Dear Sir,

If you wife has issued the cheque in your name from her Bank without signing the cheque, it remains an invalid cheque. Neither your wife's Bank can debit the cheque amount to her account nor will your Bank credit the proceeds of the cheque to your current A/c without your wife's signature on the cheque.
