Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Sir, my father and mother both were passed away. The passbook of my father mentioned nominee 'yes' but not mentioned in their computer as well as they can't find the hard Copy. How can I claim my father's hard earned money?

Dear Madam / Sir,
The nominee is usually the spouse / wife of the deceased. If the Bank is unable to validate the name of the nominee as per its record, you may have to rely on your father's Will. In the absence of his Will, you will need to submit their Death Certificates to the Bank with a letter signed by the siblings (legal heirs) to pay out the balance amount in your decased father's A/c to you. If they disagree, you should tell the Bank to equally divide the balance amount amongst all the legal heirs.
Regards,
