Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Hello sir. Gd mg. Has there been a recent judgement by the Hon' ble Supreme Court in regard to powers of CJMs u/s 14 of Sarfaesai Act that they are NOT empowered to order for physical possession of mortgaged properties. If so what is the alternative proposed or suggested. Please enlighten.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Good morning !
Sorry. There's no such judgement by the Supreme Court limiting the powers of the Chief Judicial Magistrates and I personally have my doubts whether there ever will be any such judgement in the upcoming future. There's no question of any alternative when the status quo is maintained.
Regards,
