hi sir i have issued a check long 7 years back to a person now i dont have that account will he bounced the cheque and put a case on me

Dear Sir / Madam,
If you still owe the person the money, I suggest you pay off and settle the person and take back your cheque, rather than wait for the cheque to be dishonoured and the person lodges a recovery suit against you.
