Legal Question in Banking Law in India

Sir, I have took an loan of 1,48,000 from SBI through an MNC company where i was working untill 2007. EMI Payment was deducted through salary. Later i left the company and me tried to close the loan but somehow they refused with lot of questions. Then there is no communication between me / My past company / Bank for past 6 years. Now i got an scan copy of the letter through email from past company asking to close the account to avoid future case again me? what i need to do now? Could you advice?

If there is no written, signed acknowledgment of debt by you within the past six years, then you can as well repudiate the claim, Better to consult a local lawyer with all documents , communications between you, the company, bank.
