hello sir
i had stopped the payment which was by means of 4 cheques each of 40269/ because by mistake i forget to deduce 21500/ which he took in advance and also refuses to return my machines which first he promise to. now he had file complaint in court could you help me and advise me what is the best way i choose as in am ready to pay

Dear Sir / Madam,
Today is Easter.
You cannot hold back four cheques. You should adjust the advance amount from one cheque telling the supplier to return it back and replace it with the net amount cheque. You should release the other three cheques to the other party.
