Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Hi sir. I was working in clerical care probationary period in an public sector bank. I have joined on last July 14 and completed 1 year. In the appointment offer.. It is said 'you have to indemnify the bank up to 1 lac in case of leaving the job before one year. Due to health problems.. I have taken 1 month leave. It is also said In service regulation.. Probationary period will be extended in case of extra ordinary leave. Now.. Due to some family problems.. I would like to resign. Should I need to pay the bond amount now..??? I have completed one year of service Including leave taken

Dear Sir / Madam,
Since you have completed one full year's service in the Bank, you are not legally liable to indemnify the Bank. You should refer the relevant terms and conditions as regards "Notice Period" as mentioned in your Appointment letter.
