Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Sir,
Further to my question, on wrong seal put on the cheque, now the supplier has threatened me to sue on firm B, whose seal was put erroneously and the cheque belongs to firm A. The bank has di honoured the cheque, saying cheque no and branch mismatch. I am ready pay dues in firm A. But he is asking me to pay from firm B, which is huge and the account is in dispute.
Kindly advise sir.
