Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Sir
I presented a cheque drawn by son as pay self or bearer. Bank refused to pay me saying it can be encashed only by my son. Is this correct

Dear A K Mahant,
Bank cannot refuse to honour the bearer cheque issued by your son. The Bank has erred in its approach.
