Legal Question in Banking Law in India
What is succession certificate ,which is asked to give by banks for knowing details of cash deposited in name of father or mother, in case when father or mother is not alive? What is procedure and charges for making of succession certificate ? Does the same succession certificate come in use for family partition of movable and immovable properties ?

Succession certificate is only for debts like bank deposits. It will have to be got by application to court. Consult local advocate for costs for applying for succession certificate.
