Legal Question in Banking Law in India
how can a widow withdraw the amount from her late husband's savings bank account having no nomination,the widow has submitted the copy of survival certificate, her identity proof, address proof, an affidavit as suggested by the bank manager but bank manager is now asking the widow to submit surety from two persons, but nobody is interested to stand as surety?

Dear Sir / Madam,
In the absence of a nomination by the deceased, the widow may obtain a Succession Certificate to establish her claim on operating her late husband's bank A/c.
