Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Am working in a private company as a key person,as it is a start up company i have to do many roles from HR to Opertaions, our director has give the responsiblity to me to take care of the company, as he is a social activist he has so many problems. So many of the people took advantage of it and call me & asks for his number and talking rudely. One of the leading bank official called me and told that our director has took a loan & didn't repay it.I don't have his number, but his mail id alone. i told them am having his mail id alone. But they are approaching me in very rude way by forcing me to give his number. Is there any way to address them in law.Because i didn't take any loan, even in company name also he didn't take loan, but that bank is threatening us.Please guide me to resolve this issue.

Dear Sir / Madam,
I have already answered this query earlier but I am answering it again for the purpose of brevity. You should emphatically reply to the Bank officials to contact your Director who has taken the loan and it is not you who is primarily responsible. It cannot be that you are the key person in the Company and you do not have the Director's mobile number. So, if you wish to absolve yourself from further harassment and headache of Bank officials, you should give your Director's email address and mobile number to the Bank officials whenever they call you up next time. Since your Director has taken the loan, let the Director sort out the matter with the Bank.
Regards,
