Am I allowed to offer Astrology/Numerology consultancy from home in Mumbai? There will be no employees. Is there any restriction to this activity in the society byelaws? Do I need a shops and establishment licence for this purpose? Does this service come under service tax?

Yes, you can permit Astrology/Numerology consultancy from your home in Mumbai. No, there is no restriction to this activity in the society bye laws. No, you do not need a Shops & Establishments Act license to conduct this activity. No, this activity does not attract Service Tax liability.
