Legal Question in Business Law in Nigeria
A buyer wants to countersign a Proforma Commercial Invoice (which will have both seller's and buyer's bank details) and lodge in their respective banks. Then wants loaded vessel of crude oil leave country of origin (Nigeria) to Ghana waters without first placing financial instruments. My questions are: 1.Does a countersigned Proforma Commercial Invoice give any legal comfort? 2. Is it possible to include the bank details of the brokers on the Proforma Commercial Invoice? Please advise me. Thanks.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes, a countersigned Proforma Commercial Invoice is a legally valid document. The broker's Bank details can also be included in the Proforma Commercial Invoice.
