Legal Question in Business Law in India

Dear Sir/Madam I was work with a company now I have left it & working with another company as a sales executive. I have approach some of client of my last company & the have known it.

In my offer letter they written i cant work with their client for one year . So now can they take any action against me.

Dear R Shankar,

I've always maintained that the Power of Defence is a thousand times the Power of Attack. You may have quit the Company for several reasons ... like you did not like the work culture, or you did not like the work assigned to you, or you were dissatisfied that you were not getting paid what you were really worth. Don't look back ... work your way forward. Negotiate from strength. All you need to do is to just defend yourself should the previous Company choose to take any legal action against you.
