Legal Question in Business Law in India
Dear Sir,
We have a manufacturing Company. We outsource one of our process to Job Work vendor. One of our vendor has retained our copper illegaly. He says that he will not give us the same back, because we have stopped giving him enough business.
What solution can we have, any act or case law?
Thanks

Dear Sir / Madam,
Not having enough business is no grounds for retention of your material. You should immediately write a reminder to the job work vendor to process the balance copper and supply you the finished goods, else you should recover the cost of the balance copper given to him from the security deposit that the vendor has given you.
Regards,
