Legal Question in Business Law in
Employment Contract
I have signed a contract of employment recently. The contract states that is a one year contract, with renewal for one more year at the discretion of both parties. I signed it in May of 2000. I have recently been offered a much better position in another industry. What would be the ramifications of quitting and am I legally bound to remain here until May of 2001 when my 1 year contract expires?
