can a firm be a proprietor of another firm
eg. m/s abc prop. m/s xyz
if answer is 'no' then is there a way to prove this fact

Dear Sir ./ Madam,
No, a sole proprietary concern cannot be a sole proprietor of another sole proprietary concern. Only an individual person can be a proprietor of a sole proprietary concern.
