Legal Question in Business Law in India

Is it legal for a pharmacy shop to function without having the shop name seal( i meant the seal used with stamp pad)?? (Regarding law in India).. The shopkeeper argued telling he doesnt need to have it. I needed the seal inorder to get reimbursement through medical benefit in my mothers govt. job

Dear Sir / Madam,

Yes, the shopkeeper need not separately affix the seal with stamp pad if all the important details like shop name, shop address, drug licence number, VAT No, Name of Patient, Name of Doctor are already printed on the cash memo / invoice. His signature on the cash memo / invoice is sufficient. The employers do not have a ground to reject the cash memo if all the above details exist on the cash memo / Invoice.

sales receipt must be provide customer as per sales tax act of state.above advise goods
