Legal Question in Business Law in Nigeria
I have not made my company (LTD) annual returns for the past 6 years to the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). What punitive measures can they take against me or my company under the law? Can they take me to court?
Thanks.

The corporate affairs commission does not go about disturbing companies that are in default of their annual returns. This is because there are penalties that accrue for default which your company must pay anytime it needs anything from cac.
Where there is no activity on the company file for a long duration, then cac may strike out the name of the company from their records.
