Is it necessary that a private limited company should have a clause regarding selling of company land

NO. .... Private company land can be sold by an ordinary resolution and if such private company is subsidiary of a public company the its land can be sold after passing of a special resolution. Hence there is no necessity of incorporating any such clause in the Articles or Memorandum of Association of the Company.
