Legal Question in Business Law in India
Hi all, I have a problem.
We thought of opening a website. Since its costly with branded developers we opted for a freelancer believing his quality. Now the thing is that we thought of finishing the work within 35 days of agreement. Unfortunately due to some peraonal issues we were not able to provide some data which obviously delayed the work. But we were in conatant touch. That particular developer he is working part time for me. He is about to join in IBM next week. So he is forcing to me to end the project. But actually we havent set any date. We just said we have to finish it by one month. And the work is not completed. There are lots of changes to be done. He is saying ue will legally.
What can i do? The following are details of project
Total agreed amount 28000
Advance paid 5000
Agreement signed for 35 days. It was developers agreement. Its a printed a4 sheet. All important datas are printed in first page. And me and developer has signed in second paper. Second paper is just pinned. It can be removed. There is one copy of this agreement with me and developer.
Can he move legally against me?
Will this doc talk?
i am ready to pay the amount to him if he is ready to work and satisfy my requirments.
Please help

Dear Sir / Madam,
The terms and conditions if specified for time extension in the Agreement will apply. Since the delays are on account of both the parties, you have to mutually sort it out with the Developer.
