Legal Question in Business Law in India
A well known public listed company has refused to give me a statement of account or ledger copy of my transaction done with the said company. Under which Law or Acts do I have remedy. Can I write to Corporate affairs ministry . please mention acts as well as section numbers if possible

Writing to Corporate Affairs Ministry is not a legal procedure, it is the general way through which you will present your problem through which you may or may not get relief but the legal procedure is the way through which you get, defiantly, result because it is your right to achieve.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should write a reminder addressed to the Company Secretary to provide you with the information requested within 7 days, failing which you should escalate the matter to the Registrar of Companies (ROC) copied to Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for immediate remediation.
