Legal Question in Business Law in India
Hello sir, due to some finencial problems my father can't pay our Electricity bills of few years . Now our bill increased to about 60,000 rupees . When we go the local electricity office they asked us to pay the whole amount at once . They dont allows us to pay the bill in installment . Please tell me what shshould I do if they fill a case against us for not paying their bill ..??

Dear Sir / Madam,
Since your father has financial problem(s), I suggest that you and your brothers and sisters immediately pay the outstanding electricity bill. The electricity authorities may not allow you to pay the bill in installments especially if your bill is "time barred' for payment and settlement. If the electricity company lodges a case against you in the Court, I advise you to attend the court hearing yourself in person >>>
