Legal Question in Business Law in India

Sir, i am due to shift delhi and start a wholesale business from the city. My business would require around 200-300 square feet(around 1 room) storage space for my apparel business. Sir, my question is if i can rent a residential accommodation and use it for dwelling as well as doing my business activity i.e. storing my goods and selling them from the same residential place.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Yes, residing and doing business from the same premises is permissible. In case of a residential premises, informing the Owner of the premises of your intention to reside and run your business together and getting the Owner's consent thereto is advisable and recommended.
