Legal Question in Business Law in India
I am a student and i helped organize a fundraiser which didnt take place due to lack of funds and our permissions being overridden by the government, due to renovation at the location. One sponsor who was contacted by an event management company who was working with us is threatening to sue even though we have postponed the event to a date a couple of months down the line. what can i do

Dear Sir / Madam,
Unless there is a specific performance contract with the sponsor, you are only liable to return back his money and no more.
