Legal Question in Business Law in India

My uncle was running a grocery shop for 20+ Yrs in our village in Andhra and have gained a very good name for his shop in the village. At the age of 61 he was diagnosed with a spin problem for which he had to undergo a complex operation. At that juncture of his health he was mentally depressed and thought he will never be able to recover even after operation and hence have sold his shop (name and stock as shop was not owned by him) to an amateur in Dec15. And he went on to undergo the operation and by gods grace within 5 months i.e. by April16 he has recovered not only physically but mentally too. He is very energetic now and hence not able to seat at home and is planning to start the grocery business once again in the same street where he was having his old shop which he sold but around 10 to 15 shops away. He didnt get into any agreement with them while selling the old shop that he will not restart the same business, so wish to understand if there can be any legal implications in starting his grocery business again in the same street/market.

Dear Sir / Madam,

No, I do not foresee any legal hurdles or implications for your uncle to commence his grocery business near the place where he used to run his grocery shop long ago.
