Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

i am 27 years old.my father is my problem.if i want to do anything against his decision, he started forcing me to abide by his opinion.he is doing this thing since 8-9 years. first he started this with my education, then he did it with my relationship. if anybody likes me, he told him that i am married,i have children and mentally disturbed. i went to the police station ,but my father told them that i am mentally disturbed... he gave me medicine just to protect himself from police. this incident occured in our home town 6 years back.he repeated the same thing in vellore in 2016..i went to the police station but they refuses to register FIR.the police are being told by the higher administrative level that i am mentally ill.please help me to come out of this.please save my reputation. i am not married, not mentally disturbed.

1) Ur father might be doing so in ur own interest.

2) First discuss in the presence of family elders and experienced outside senior citizens and settle amicably.
